Caladiums thrive in partial to full shade. Plant them in a location where they will receive filtered sunlight or indirect light. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves.
Plant Caladiums in well-draining, fertile soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. A mix of potting soil, peat moss, and perlite works well. Ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.
